My teaching methods:
My classes are practical, patient, and 100% focused on you speaking and building from day one.
For English: We focus on real conversation, not boring grammar rules. I help you with confident speaking, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and writing. For secondary school students, I help with WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and IGCSE English. For tech learners, I teach Technical English — how to explain your code and ideas clearly. We practice through discussions, role-plays, and correction with instant feedback.
For Scratch (ages 7-14): We learn coding through fun! Students create their own games, animations, and stories using drag-and-drop blocks. This builds logic, creativity, and problem-solving without typing complex code.
For HTML, CSS, and Python (ages 10+, secondary, university, and adult beginners): We learn by building real projects live. I share my screen, explain with simple examples, and you code with me — whether it's your first personal website with HTML/CSS or your first Python program. I teach WHY code works, not just how to copy it.
Length of my classes:
All GoStudent classes are 50 minutes. My structure is:
5 mins: Quick recap and goal setting
35 mins: Main lesson — live conversation for English, live coding/building for tech subjects
10 mins: Q&A, feedback, and a small fun task to practice before the next class
I also offer 100-minute double lessons for students who want to build bigger projects or prepare fast for exams.
My qualifications/experience:
2+ years experience as a private tutor helping 15+ students improve their English grades and learn coding from zero
English: Helped secondary school students improve essay writing, comprehension, and spoken confidence for WAEC/JAMB/IGCSE
Tech: Self-taught Web Developer with 300+ hours via freeCodeCamp and The Odin Project — Certified in Responsive Web Design and JavaScript Algorithms. Freelance developer building websites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Scratch & Python: Coached kids and beginners to build their first games, websites, and Python apps
Strong communication skills and a clear, neutral accent — I make complex topics simple because I learned them myself

Scratch: Kids 7-14 years old, complete beginners who love games and creativity

Python: Secondary school students, university beginners, and adults starting programming from zero
