I am a dynamic all round interdisciplinary learner. I have been a History and Sociology teacher since January 2017, first as a Master's candidate,. Over the years I have taught enjoyed teaching (formally, informally) as well as contributing to research across a number of fields within Sociology, History, Sport Management, International Relations etc. Though disparate and varied, all roles allowed me to demonstrate my commitment
to student development through education and lifelong learning while also utilizing my ability for sustained high quality work.

I find teaching one of the most important activities humans could arguably engage in. Teaching understood as transfer of knowledge from teacher to students constitutes only a part of this. Equally important is the inter-subjective learning that takes place during the process of teaching, which essentially allows students as well as teachers to benefit in their own ways. I personally believe that clear and effective transfer of knowledge is the highest proof of expertise in any given field. As such, it should be seen as essential in any academic pursuit.
In line with this philosophy, I strive to provide students with tools for self-disciplined critical approach to major contemporary challenges as well as lifelong autonomous learning based on personal curiosity of the world around us. It is this curiosity that ultimately rests at the foundation of human progress and it is this curiosity which we should cultivate as teachers.
As a tutor, the biggest compliment you can pay me as my student is to never take anything at face value. Therefore, I can only show you how to identify and approach problems but I refrain from providing definite answers. It is the students who should find the answers for themselves and by themselves.
