O nauczycielu Anastasiya
Hello! My name is Anastasiya, and I am a bilingual speaker of German and Russian. Both languages have been part of my life since childhood and are my native languages, which allows me to understand the learning process from the perspective of both a native German speaker and a Russian-speaking learner.
I was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, where I developed a deep connection to the German language and culture. Growing up in a bilingual environment has given me a unique understanding of language acquisition, intercultural communication, and the challenges that learners may face when transitioning between different linguistic systems.
Languages have always been one of my greatest passions. As someone who loves learning foreign languages myself and is currently studying Chinese, I understand both the challenges and the excitement of mastering a new language. This personal experience helps me support my students with patience, motivation, and practical learning strategies.
My professional background is diverse and international. I founded and managed my own business in the beauty industry in Germany, while my first professional training in this field took place in Warsaw. Working with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds has taught me the importance of effective communication and language skills in both personal and professional life.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy an active lifestyle and am passionate about padel. I have built and managed communities that bring people together through shared interests, including a women's community of more than 700 members in Warsaw and a padel community in Hamburg. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, which I bring into my lessons as well.
My goal as a tutor is not only to teach German but also to help students feel confident using the language in real-life situations, whether for studies, work, travel, or everyday conversations. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where every student feels comfortable making progress at their own pace.

My teaching approach is based on personalized learning and communicative language acquisition. I believe that every student has unique goals, strengths, and learning preferences, so I adapt each lesson to their individual needs, pace, and interests. Whether your goal is to improve conversational fluency, prepare for exams, succeed in your studies, or use German professionally, I create a structured learning plan tailored specifically to you.
Lessons are 55 minutes long and combine speaking practice, vocabulary development, grammar in context, listening comprehension, and real-life communication. I place particular emphasis on active language use, helping students gain confidence and speak German naturally from the very beginning.
I have experience teaching German online, leading conversation clubs, and preparing learners of all proficiency levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. I also offer specialized German courses for professional purposes, including medical German, German for engineers, and German for beauty and wellness professionals.
My lessons are designed primarily for adults and university students who are looking for practical, engaging, and goal-oriented German instruction in a supportive learning environment.
